Nonprofit fundraising executive, Katy Crichlow Cummings to lead PFOHC.

The Parks Foundation of Hendricks County (PFOHC) has named Katy Crichlow Cummings, CFRE as Executive Director. In this role, Cummings will lead the PFOHC’s strategic fundraising and marketing efforts as well as business operations and community relations.

We are extremely excited that Katy Cummings has joined the Parks Foundation of Hendricks County as our new Executive Director,” said Matt Browning, PFOHC Board Chair. “We are committed to the future growth and sustainability of parks in Hendricks County and based on Katy’s extensive leadership experience we are confident she will help us meet that mission.”

Cummings brings two decades of experience as a leader in the nonprofit sector, specifically in fundraising, strategic planning, volunteer management, board development and marketing and communications. Cummings has served as a leader in various roles for nonprofits in the fields of substance abuse and mental health, child welfare advocacy and higher education.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to lead the PFOHC and work alongside a highly skilled and passionate board of directors,” said Cummings. “The Hendricks County community has a treasure within our incredible parks and I am excited to inspire more residents to support our beautiful public spaces.”

Cummings earned her bachelor’s degree in communication studies and master’s degree in philanthropic studies from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and currently serves as the Board Chair for Dove Recovery House for Women. Cummings lives in Brownsburg with her family.
