Did you know there are 8 different park departments in Hendricks County? As the Parks Foundation, we partner with them all in different ways to fit their community’s needs. One way is hosting a master calendar to find all park events/programs in one place.
You may also find programs from other park partners that support our mission in some way. If you host community events and would like to get on our calendar email us at admin@pfohc.org.
When you find an event or program you want to attend please double-check with the park host before showing up. Sometimes details get changed or we make small mistakes when entering the information. To be on the safe side, always check. You can find the host department in every calendar listings for your convenience.

Community Thanksgiving Dinner

FreeEveryone should enjoy a wonderful and traditional Thanksgiving Dinner in the company of friends and family. So if you want to enjoy some of the best-tasting holiday traditions and need a place to be, our doors are open to you and your family. You don’t need to be hungry, alone or in need to join us. But if you are, then we will help you forget about your worries and make you feel welcome into our community family.
Professional Chef Bryan Agan prepares turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, dinner rolls, pumpkin pie and more for your pleasure and nourishment. And it is all presented free of charge by the Plainfield Community Thanksgiving Day Dinner Committee.
You can dine in, carry out, or schedule a meal for delivery within the Guilford Township community. More details will be available at a later date for scheduling a delivery.
No reservations are needed. Just come and join us and feel blessed to be a part of the Plainfield/Guilford Township community.
