Did you know there are 8 different park departments in Hendricks County? As the Parks Foundation, we partner with them all in different ways to fit their community’s needs. One way is hosting a master calendar to find all park events/programs in one place.
You may also find programs from other park partners that support our mission in some way. If you host community events and would like to get on our calendar email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
When you find an event or program you want to attend please double-check with the park host before showing up. Sometimes details get changed or we make small mistakes when entering the information. To be on the safe side, always check. You can find the host department in every calendar listings for your convenience.
Have fun at our parks!
Are you and your four-legged friend tired of the same old walk? Then come out to McCloud Nature Park and take a winter walk, led by one of our naturalists. We will be blazing a path for our frosty paws together. During the hike, we will find out what your K-9’s ancestor, the coyote, is doing during the winter months. Please dress for the weather. Participating dogs must be friendly with other dogs. All dogs at McCloud are required to be on a leash.
Hiking terrain info: easy to moderate level of difficulty, gravel, and natural surfaces, up to 1 mile.
APPROPRIATE FOR ALL AGES; CHILDREN YOUNGER THAN 16 MUST ATTEND WITH A PARENT OR GUARDIAN WHO IS ABLE TO HIKE THE TRAILS
