The Parks Foundation of Hendricks County Announces 2026 Board Members
The Parks Foundation of Hendricks County (PFOHC) is pleased to announce its 2026 board of directors, welcoming new community leaders while recognizing the continued service and leadership of returning board members.
The board supports PFOHC’s mission to grow financial resources that enhance parks and trails throughout Hendricks County—ensuring these spaces remain welcoming, accessible, and vibrant for generations to come.
Angie Haywood will serve as the Board President in 2026. Haywood has served on the PFOHC board for several years, most recently as Vice President, and brings deep professional experience, thoughtful leadership, and a strong commitment to conservation and outdoor spaces across Hendricks County.
PFOHC is also excited to welcome four new members to its board in 2026.
Steve Brehob is a graduate of Purdue University and serves as Vice President of the Development Services Group at Banning Engineering. He brings nearly 40 years of experience in zoning, design, project management, and construction administration across commercial, residential, infrastructure, and public sector projects. Prior to joining Banning in 2020, Brehob was a partner and president of a civil engineering and surveying firm in southern Indiana. A southside Indianapolis native and Perry Meridian High School graduate, he now lives in Danville with his wife, Dawn. In his free time, Brehob enjoys hiking, fishing, kayaking, and spending time outdoors.
Mikayla Patterson is a lifelong Hendricks County resident and serves as the rental coordinator at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds and Conference Complex. In her role, she manages facility rentals and supports the annual Hendricks County Fair, helping bring people together through events that foster community connection. Patterson is passionate about building partnerships and creating shared experiences, especially those that celebrate the outdoors. Her favorite place to unwind is McCloud Nature Park in North Salem, where she enjoys spending time immersed in nature.
Jenna Price is a lifelong Hendricks County resident who lives in Plainfield with her husband. A graduate of Plainfield High School, Price earned her bachelor’s degree in business management from Indiana Wesleyan University and has worked as a real estate broker with RE/MAX Centerstone for more than 15 years. She is co-lead broker of the Mike Price Realty Team and co-owner of Price Rental Properties, providing local housing and property management services. Price is deeply engaged in community leadership, with more than a decade of involvement in Leadership Hendricks County, including graduation from the 2016 LHC class and the 2025 Ember Program. Outside of work, Price enjoys hiking, rock climbing, traveling, and spending time outdoors with her family and dog, Max.
Thomas Smallwood is a Site Engineer for WM, bringing a strong background in environmental stewardship and sustainability to his work. Originally from Ohio, Smallwood earned his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Florida. Since relocating to Danville in 2023, he has been eager to apply his expertise in sustainability and land management to serve the local community. Smallwood is an avid cyclist who values accessible outdoor spaces and can often be found on local trails with his wife, Cassandra, and their two dogs, Ronnie and Russell.
As part of this transition, PFOHC extends sincere gratitude to board members completing their terms, including Jeff Banning, Matt Browning, and Brad Eisenhart. Their leadership, advocacy, and dedication have helped advance PFOHC’s work and strengthen support for parks across Hendricks County.
The Parks Foundation of Hendricks County is guided by a volunteer board of community-minded leaders who bring diverse perspectives and expertise to the organization. Their collective leadership helps ensure PFOHC remains a strong partner to parks departments and a trusted advocate for outdoor spaces throughout the county.
